    Distinguished Schools in Temecula:

    Each year, the California State Board of Education gives its “California Distinguished School” award to only about five-percent of the public schools in the state that have demonstrated an ability to provide exemplary educational programs. The rigorous selection process considers criteria such as the Academic Performance Index (API), the Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), and the No Child Left Behind Program.
